National Shoora Council [NSC], the apex body of National Civil Organizations representing the Muslim Society, extends its sincere congratulations to the National People’s Power [NPP] led by you, on its epoch-making victory at the GE 2024 held on 14/11/24. Your party, whilst breaking numerous records, also secured two-thirds of the seats in parliament, making it possible to bring much needed Constitutional reform inter alia to achieve national unity.
The landslide win is a testament that most people are happy with the direction of the country since you became the President – especially the change in political culture. The NPP’s significant gains made in the North and East underscores your ability to unite diverse communities for the benefit of our motherland.
We are confident that this victory will herald a new era of progress, National Unity and prosperity to all citizens, transcending ethnic, religious and social divides.
Whilst wishing you and your team all the very best, we take this opportunity to pledge our fullest support for all progressive measures designed to achieve the aims and aspirations of the masses who gave you this massive mandate.
